Welcome to Northwood Community Church

Hello, and welcome to Northwood Community Church.

Our desire at Northwood Community is to help meet the needs of all ages from infants to senior citizens. We believe the body of Christ is made up of all generations and therefore the local church should reflect that as well. However, we do recognize the huge challenge families face in raising their children in today's culture. Therefore, we make it a high priority to help assist you in this very important task by providing proper training, instruction and activities. We invite you to consider the Northwood family which is committed to the entire family.

Our Purpose

To Glorify God - Our overall purpose is to bring honor and glory to God in all that we do. We seek to encourage this through the following:
By Developing Mature Disciples - We believe that through the great commission, we are all commanded to be His followers and to help others to do the same.
Through Worship - We offer a blended service of celebrating God with the primary focus on building up believers and equipping them to serve the Lord.
Study of the Word - In worship service, Adult Bible Fellowship, Sunday School, and Men's & Women's Ministries.
Prayer - We seek to keep dependent prayer, individually and corporately, as a high priority in every aspect of our church.
Fellowship - Developing relationships based on love is extremely important to our health and growth in the body of Christ. Therefore we seek to meet this need through Adult Bible Fellowship and other planned activities.
Outreach to Others - We strive to be sensitive to the needs of the unchurched and to share the love of Christ through our daily living and acts of service. We are also committed to short term and full time missions at home and throughout the world.

We are affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America "EFCA". The Evangelicial Free Church of America is an association of autonomous churches united by a mutual commitment to serve our Lord Jesus Christ with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and obedience to the Word of God.
